Spectacles hunting in Korea

Yixi broke my spectacles in Jeju Island, her strong little fingers broke one side of the frame. I had spare pair but i left it at Fat Boy’s place in Jochiwon. So for some days, i had to use my sunglasses to see, luckily my sunglasses has prescription but i felt funny when i was wearing sunglasses indoor or at night. So not used to wearing sunglasses as spectacles, as everything became darker at night. Went caving with sunglasses and the cave was so much darker.

When we were in Busan, i could not stand it anymore and brought my existing lens to the optical shop and to find a new frame. I selected a frame that is similar or smaller than my broken frame and within 15 minutes, i had a new pair of spectacles. The frame costs only 10000 won, around 12.50 SGD.

Since the spectacles in Korea are cheaper as compared to Singapore, we thought we should make another pair for Yi Ken as a spare. Thank you to Wenzi, our Air BnB host who brought us for spectacle hunting in her neighbourhood in Byeollae. Not only did Yi Ken made a pair of new spectacles, i made another one too. Even Sean was tempted to make one. LOL.
